FAQ

  • What should I wear?

Most guests will be dressed in Indian Formal wear. There are several different types of Indian outfits, and there are no specific requirements for what types of outfits should be worn to which events. In addition, guests are certainly not expected to wear Indian attire. Whatever you feel most comfortable in!

Note: You will be required to take off your footwear before entering the temple.

  • What kind of food will there be?

We often say that the best part of an Indian wedding is the food. There will be predominantly vegan options. The food will be served buffet style. Please let us know if you have any food restrictions or allergies as a part of your RSVP.

  • What about wedding gifts? Do you have a wedding registry?

During this special moment in our lives, your presence at our wedding is more than enough to make our day. If you would like to honor us with a gift, please check out our wedding registry to help donate to a cause very dear to us!

  • Is there a reception?

Mounika and Kshitij don’t relate to anything (except food) at most receptions. So, our hope is that we can spend time with everyone on Saturday after bhajans.

  • Will there be any dancing?

Mounika apologetically and Kshitij unapologetically: No.

Update: The snark here did not age well. Baaraat anyone?

  • What if I have more questions?

Feel free to call Kshitij at (716) 866-3609 if you have any questions.

If you text, you may not get a response because Kshitij hasn’t figured out how to text. .
